I was born and raised in Central California but moved to Oregon in 1969 to attend Linfield College. While at Linfield I received a Bachelor of Art in Art and a Masters degree in Art Education. I was so taken with the lush, natural beauty of the Willamette Valley that I decided to make this home. I taught art in the McMinnville public schools for 30 years. After retiring I continued my teaching career at Linfield College and started pursuing my interest in photography. I have volunteered for the McMinnville Fire and Police departments as their photographer documenting their various activities, and this has helped me develop an eye for details.

I prefer my photographs to be natural, paying attention to more than the obvious. When I take a picture, I want to capture a moment so people can see what I see. I view my photography as a pleasurable opportunity to preserve memories. I hope I can make your photo shoot an enjoyable, relaxed, uniquely you experience.
